I was born and raised in NC. I grew up in the public eye and was exposed to music at an early age. With my older brother, Joe B., my younger sister, Gwendolyn, and two family friends, we started our first band, The Majestics, when I was 14 years old. I lived in Philadelphia when it was the music capital of the world and recorded my first record for Lasso Records in November, 1976. I love to sing!.
